Hoffmeyer's supplies/distributes and also mills solid wood flooring. Whether it be a small amount to cover such as one bundle to fill in a missing or damaged section, or cover a large area of 5000 SF, we have you covered. We do our best to take the time to look after the small jobs as well as the larger jobs.

Our practice is that we only solid wood flooring that has been kiln dried. All of the flooring we offer is unfinished, raw wood, with no magical 20 layer space station finish applied. You choose and apply finish the floor after it has been laid and sanded.

Pine floors are a very popular option that give a warm, country look. We have stock of 3/4" or 7/8" Red Pine and, 7/8" & 1 1/8" or thickerWhite Pine tounge and groove flooring. 6" boards are the widths, but we can also supply wider plank or even thicker stock for lofts on post/beam type structures. Call or email for any further details and current pricing. Please include the quantity and your location. NOTE we do not ship softwood flooring (Pine or Fir) to the USA due to regulation.

Oak and Maple, Cherry and Ash are also available and ship North America wide. We typically stock the traditional strip flooring that is 3/8" thick by 1 3/4" wide in Oak. This is the type you may have seen in many homes that are 50 to 90 years old. We can also supply 3/4" X 2 1/4" - 3 1/4" hardwood. Some clients can choose a wider plank custom hardwood floor with a face width of 5" + wider in width.

We can even supply custom milled quarter sawn random width Red Oak Plank flooring as well as Vertical Grain Douglas Fir, bother harder to find items that some say you cannot get any more. Well, here you can!

Note: All of our lumber is kept under a roof at our facility.

Hoffmeyer's keeps stock of 1" x 6" nominal (3/4" thick x 5 1/8" face + tongue) Red Pine T&G with 4" and 8" available as a special order. We recommend using a single width floor to help ensure you are working with materials machined at the same time. Red Pine is harder than White Pine. It's cheaper as well which makes it a popular chioce.

Above you can see wide plank White Pine flooring. It is ~13/16" thick and has a 8 7/8" coverage plus the tongue. This flooring is kiln dried to ~10% Moisture content and has anticupping relief cuts on the back side. Random lengths from 6' up to 16 feet.

Bill the driver was GREAT! Can't emphasize that enough. And the wood is PERFECT. Small knots and few and far between, which is exactly what we were hoping for. My wife was elated when we started unloading it. For reasons I won't go into, it made the most sense to bring the whole load in through a couple of open windows. It took about 2 and a half hours and Bill assisted without a single complaint. What a great guy! We had to talk him into accepting enough of a tip to buy himself a good dinner. We can machine hardwood into plank type flooring in varoius widths and longer lengths. Ash is shown above with Cherry below machines in random widths.

Below you see a special order of British Columbia verticle grain clear FIR tongue and groove flooring in all 14 and 16 foot lengths! Let me know for all of your special flooring needs.

Above shows you a close up showing the verticle grain cut of the wood. This makes for a very stable, strong and durable floor. Below you can see this beautiful floor installed in a large kitchen and dining area.

Above shows you 3/8" x 1 3/4" strip style Red Oak flooring. It is also available in 1 1/2" widths as well as Hard Maple and comes in lengths from ~2 feet up to about 7 feet long. It is unfinsihed and offers you great value and ease of installation with tongue and groove on edges and the ends. It is also available in different thicknesses and widths.

The product name for the stain and finish is Bona. We also had the floor "water popped" ( a process where they slightly wet the floor before staining it) so it would except more stain and to give it that mottled colorful look. The stain color is provincial.

Custom milled & random width 3 1/4" , 4 1/4" and 5 1/4" wide Quater Cut Red Oak flooring.

Quartered Oak gives this flooring an exciting look. The grain dancing about these boards will for sure bring this customers living and dining rooms alive!
